What do you do?
What areas do you serve?
Our shop is located in Meridian, Idaho. But, we do work all over the Pacific Northwest! Including, but not limited to: Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Utah, Colorado, and California.
What type of finishes do you guys offer?
Most of our products are powder coated locally here in the Treasure Valley. Another popular finish is our exclusive blackened steel. We use a special process to blacken the raw steel– giving the product a more ‘completed’ look while still showing all the unique characteristics of the steel (like heat marks!).
We also offer CorTen (the rusted look) and brushed steel.
What does a plasma cutter (CNC) do?
Back in the day we used plasma machines as an alternative to cut steel, stainless, aluminum, brass and copper. It is simply a machine that allows us to use super heated electrically charged air “plasma” to cut through an electrically conductive material, i.e. metal. Plasma machines have come along way and additional tools have been created to compliment the traditional plasma machine; like CNC machines. CNC machines are computer controlled and allow the automation of plasma machines to cut the intricate drawings our designers come up with.
I have this sketch on a napkin, is that enough to get a product fabricated?
It’s more than enough! If you have a rough sketch, or even just a few inspiration photos, we can use AutoCAD to design and finalize your idea before fabrication. We always send the drawings to you for your approval before we begin the magic to ensure that it’s exactly what you want!
I have an idea of what I want, but I don’t know if it will be too expensive?
We understand 100%. We encourage you to still reach out to us with your idea. We’ll give you a free, no-obligation quote so you can decide if it’s worth progressing. If we can help educate you about metal in anyway in regards to your project, we’ll have done our job already– regardless if you end up purchasing through us or not.
Does Excalibur do work with stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, etc.?
We work with all types of metal and we like the challenge of bringing your ideas to life. If, for some reason, it isn’t something we do we will direct you to one of our business partners that do!
How do I pay?
